Hey gang,
Our next big event will likely be held on October 14th or October 21st. Also, it will be one of the following three formats: (yes, I added one!)
A) 2HG draft
B) Backdraft
C) Progressive Garth draft
The final option likely requires some explanation (I don't think the "progressive" part is explained online). Essentially, players start with one pack, then draft it against one person and play a game. The players then keep the 15 cards they drafted, and use that as their pack against the next opponent.
Players would play 5 games, anyone winning 4 of those games would get a free pack; anyone winning all 5 would claim a free draft set :-)
There's been some clamoring for Garthing, so I thought I would add this last option! :-)
As usual, we're using approval voting, so feel free to vote for as many different options as you'd like here. Please post your votes as comments to this post. If you don't specify who you are, I may not count your vote. If you already voted by emailing me, please post here also. Additionally, you may change your vote at any time.
(Feel free to voice preference for your favorite of the two date options also.)

Okay my vote definitely goes to 2HG drafting.
If it comes down to a grudge match between the other two though, I vote the weird, "Car Insurance Company Co-Host of Wayne's World" Draft.
As for dates, I place a VERY STRONG VOTE for the 14, as:
A. The 21st is parent weekend at BU
B. My best friend will be in town on the 14th and she'd definitely play in any event we had.

I vote 2HG drafting, with a super-negative-anti-vote for progressive Garth. It's not a real format, people!
And no, the "negative" and the "anti" do not negate each other to become positive.
I vote for backdraft. Kyle's going down this time!
Two-headed giant could be interesting, but it's not wacky enough as it is. I'd like to do two-headed if there were fun additional rules, such as you are paired with a different head every round, or, better yet, if we did two-headed backdraft. Or why not tag team? There are so many cool things we could do but we're not doing any of them!
